Samsung may launch a low-cost alternative of the Galaxy A10

Samsung is reportedly working on a more affordable version of the Galaxy A10 smartphone. Dubbed as the Galaxy A10e, the smartphone appeared on Wi-Fi Alliance certification website. The device will most likely offer a similar design but be powered by a different processor than that of the Galaxy A10 which runs the Exynos 7884 processor.
The Samsung Galaxy A10e will run Android 9.0 Pie operating system-based One UI out-of-the-box. As far as the camera and other specs are concerned, the device is expected to be similar to the Galaxy A10.

The company had recently launched the Galaxy A10 along with the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 smartphones in India. The Samsung Galaxy A10 smartphone comes with 6.2-inch HD+ Infinity V display. The device is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7884 processor and packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. There is support for up to 512GB microSD cards. For camera duties, it offers a 13MP rear camera with F1.9 aperture and a 5MP front camera with face recognition. The smartphone is backed by a battery of 3,400mAh capacity. Colour options include Red, Blue and Black colours.

Samsung has another smartphone in the form of Galaxy M10 in the same price range. The Samsung Galaxy M10 comes in two different variants – 2GB and 3GB paired with 16GB and 32GB internal storage and are priced at Rs 7,990 and Rs 8,990, respectively. The Samsung Galaxy M10 smartphone comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ Infinity V display and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based Samsung Experience UI 9.5 operating system. It is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor and houses a 3,400mAh battery. As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone offers a 5MP front camera and a dual rear cameras consisting of 13MP+5MP sensors.
