Talking about the future of Ayurveda, the yoga guru said, “With a view to protect and promote Vedic culture, Patanjali has succeeded in setting up the biggest yoga centre in the world, the biggest research centre on Ayurveda, the biggest food park and the biggest Ayurvedic pharmacy. Time is not far when Ayurvedic medicines treated only as food supplements today will be recognised as medicines across the world,” he claimed.
Incidentally, on Saturday, the yoga guru had undertaken a campaign to groom and prepare ‘social media warriors’ who he said will strengthen and propagate the nationalism narrative in the country. Addressing an event at Patanjali Yogpeeth, Ramdev had said that the ‘social yogis’ will emerge as “a potent force to act against religious, economic, political and social conspiracies and attacks happening in the country.”
